Ferry reservations from Woods Hole, MA are available to book starting January 13. If you plan on bringing a car on the ferry, book ASAP. If not, passenger tickets can be booked up until the day of departure or purchased at the port.

If you're coming from canada and prefer to drive not fly:
The drive is about 8 hours from Buffalo, NY to Woods Hole, MA where you can pick up the ferry to Martha's Vineyard. There is parking in Woods Hole, MA patrolled by the Steamship Authority (who runs the ferry) so you can park your car on the mainland and not worry about it for the weekend. Alternatively you can book a car passage on the ferry, but make sure you book early! Spots fill up. https://www.steamshipauthority.com.
